Bright Eyes Early Intervention

Bright Eyes Early Intervention provides a personalised approach to child development, intervention, and assessment. We provide high quality psychological services to children, adolescents, and their families. We pride ourselves in providing effective solutions for children faced with behavioural, emotional, social, and cognitive challenges.

Behaviour Management Programs:
Bright Eyes staff meet with parents or school staff to design and implement behaviour management programs. Using a functional behaviour assessment and behaviour analytic procedures, our data based programs have been shown to significantly decrease challenging behaviours in both the home and school settings.

Anxiety Programs:
Our psychologists use research based programs to assist individuals in managing their anxiety. Anxiety programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders are also available. The Cool KidsĀ© Child Anxiety Program is a cognitive behavioural treatment program developed by the Centre for Emotional Health at Macquarie University. Research has demonstrated that 80% of the children who complete the program show significant improvement.

Autism/ABA Programs:
Bright Eyes delivers individually tailored programs developed for children with Autism based on the principles of Applied behaviour Analysis (ABA). Each program is personalised to meet the needs of the child and their family. Programs address all developmental areas.

Other Services:
We provide preschool and school consultations to help devise IFSP or IEP goals, and recommend strategies in order to implement the goals effectively.
Opportunities are also available to deliver preschool and school professional development workshops on challenging behaviours, Autism, and a range of other workshops that can be specifically tailored to target the needs of your child.

Bright Eyes is now servicing the Brisbane area with In-home and in preschool/school services available. We are FaHCSIA and NDIS approved. For more information or to book an appointment, contact our registered psychologist, Miruna Thaventhiran on 0407 821 306 or via email, miruna@beei.com.au.
